Brain Waves: Are They Affected By Music?

I have recently come across some studies that claim that certain types of music can affect your brain waves and essentially help you awaken your own psychic abilities.
There are four main brain waves that have been identified. They are beta, alpha, theta and delta.
Beta Brain Waves
We operate in our daily lives in beta brain waves. These brain waves cycle at 13-40 cycles per second. This is basically logical thought. This is where we are mainly focused away from our inner selves, in touch with our external physical stimuli.
Alpha Brain Waves
These brain waves are at 8-13 cycles per second. This is one level deeper than beta brain waves. The alpha pattern brain wave appears when in wakefulness where there is a relaxed and effortless alertness. Light meditation and day dreaming can put you in an alpha state. You can usually practice your creative visualization in this alpha brain wave state. This state is also the best state to learn in. Remote viewing sometimes happens in this state.
Theta Brain Waves
Theta brain waves are at 4-7 cycles per second. This is one level deeper than alpha brain waves. This is a very slow brain wave pattern. This brain wave feels similar to the state between sleep and awake. It is where you can access your psychic powers and especially heal at tremendous rates. This is where you can experience extended remote viewing and astral projections, as well as access the highest source, the collective conscious.
It may take some time, however, you can learn to go into a theta state within minutes in order to access your vast psychic abilities.
Delta Brain Waves
Delta brain waves are at 1/2 – 4 cycles per second. Delta brain waves are often associated with deep sleep. This pattern is very slow, however, this brain wave pattern is important for the explorer of consciousness, astral projection and even past life recollection. If you work to merge with the mass consciousness of our planet you need to work in delta, the first step will be to learn to be conscious in your dreams. Your awareness is completely focused inward.
So, based on my studies and research, the brain waves that mainly attribute to psychic abilities, depending on the ability, are theta and delta, with some minor psychic abilities coming from alpha.
So, does music affect your brain wave pattern?
Yes, some call it Brainwave Entrainment. Others call it Music Therapy. It uses Binaural beats, rhythmic music to bring the brain waves into the desired pattern or frequency.
According to an article released by Stanford University, "There is a growing body of neuroscientists who support the theory that if there's a physical correlate of conscious experience, it has to be happening in the brainwaves. It seems to be the only thing in your head that changes rapidly enough to explain real-time changes in consciousness," Turow said.
Music with a strong beat stimulates the brain and ultimately causes brainwaves to resonate in time with the rhythm, research has shown. Slow beats encourage the slow brainwaves that are associated with hypnotic or meditative states. Faster beats may encourage more alert and concentrated thinking."
This is a very strong link to understanding how music is tied closely to our abilities to tap into our own psychic abilities.
